AmstelNet offers online marketing services to major international companies. We combine our marketing expertise with the implementation of cutting-edge web applications and thus offering clients efficient solutions to apply to their online marketing strategy. We support our global clients from our offices in New York and Amsterdam (The Netherlands). AmstelNet has established a strong foothold in the international publishing industry which includes clients like The Financial Times, The Economist, The Washington Post and Newsweek.
For our New York office we are looking for a motivated PHP Programmer who is able to look beyond its field of expertise and come up with smart solutions for our clients. As programmer you are responsible for the development of web-enabled marketing applications, from the functional design through the implementation with the client. In this process you work closely with a team of fellow programmers and project managers. You need to be creative enough to find practical solutions for sometimes difficult issues.
Profile
• 2-3 years proven programming skills in languages such as PHP, Perl, Java, C++, UNIX, Python/Zope
• experience implementing robust database schemas (MySQL, Oracle, Progress) to support application requirements
• Independent, analytical, accurate, practical
• Team player, flexible, energetic
